Doritos: The Quest

Puzzle and contest site.

Finalists who completed the challenges on the site would compete in a real life competition in Las Vegas for $100,000.

Creating a world through matte painting.

Initially we intended to create a very simple series of puzzles for the contest, but after some initial explorations we came up with a concept to tie in the puzzles into an overarching greater mystery. The setting of an ancient temple would be the backdrop of the puzzles allowing us to create an immersive world for the users to engage with.

Awards

The work on the teaser site “Triangle Mystery“ and “The Quest” were hugely successful and the teams won back to back FWA awards for both of the sites.
