Modernizing Honda

Honda had been an early adopter of the web, having a website for their cars before most other major manufacturers. But over the years they had fallen behind and were now in need of a major update to their web presence.

Honda had very rigid structure and set of requirements for how their products were presented to the customers. Their need to modernize interaction would also require a change with how they produced and delivered content for the site. We would need to work together to bring the vision to reality.

Responsive Structures

We started out by rethinking the content structure for the most visited page type, the vehicle page. We worked to understand content needs for the huge range of variables such as model, vehicle type, trim levels, special editions, optional extras and accessories.

We needed to create not just a design bust a robust publishing template that could be adapted to future vehicle releases.

Award Winning

The site is a major leap forward for Honda Automotive. The site saw a massive improvement with customer engagement and bounce rates. In early 2017 after the homepage was launched the site was submitted for consideration and won a Los Angeles Addy Award.
